The Clayton WR (water repellent) Jacket’s new design offers a classic, essential look with a modern execution, creating a timeless biker jacket engineered for comfort and protection. Styled to combine Alpinestars’ DNA in a clean urban look, the Clayton WR incorporates refined details including ergonomic lines derived from the curves of the iconic Alpinestars DFS shoulders and technical quilted graphics.
Construction
- Stylish piping on the front chest, front torso, back, and on both sides of main zipper add a classic touch of elegance.
- Shoulder and elbow armor protectors are engineered with a low profile for a more tailored fit offering an elegant aesthetic.
- Reflective silver detailing on front chest and dark silver reflective detailing on back of collar offer visibility during night rides.
- Biker collar with comfort padding and snap closure.
- Thermal vest made from a 3-layered liner material consisting of an external quilted taffeta, an inner layer of padded insulation made from 100% recycled polyester, and an internal soft jersey fabric layer for rider comfort.
- Interior mesh comfort liner with internal pockets designed to accommodate a back protector or a split chest protector.
- Jacket is cut longer on the back for greater coverage in the riding position.
- Waterproof inner pocket for the safe and secure storage of valuables, and an inner mesh pocket for personal belongings.
- The jacket has side hook and loop belt waist adjusters, as well as pant connection loops for secure attachment to Alpinestars riding pants.
